Meet the Team

Dr. Clara Yi

Optometrist

Dr. Clara Yi graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Human Biology before completing her Optometry degree at Aston University in Birmingham, UK. She continued to practice in England and completed clinical rotations at the Royal United Hospital Bath, further training in ocular disease and therapeutics. Dr. Yi is a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and the Canadian Association of Optometrists. Her special interests include pediatric eye care and dry eye disease. Dr. Yi comes from a diverse background and has a working knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, and Mandarin. She happily resides in the community with her husband and young daughter.

Dr. Jasmine Ip

Optometrist

Dr. Jasmine Ip graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and later pursued her Optometry degree at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She completed her clinical training in Hong Kong, Australia, and China and a residency in Community Optometry, where she gained valuable experience in diagnosing and managing eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.

Dr. Ip is board-certified in Canada and is licensed to prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents (TPA) for the treatment of ocular diseases. She is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Her clinical interests include diseases of the eye, contact lenses, dry eyes, and refractive surgery. Dr. Ip provides comprehensive eye examinations to patients of all ages from infants to seniors. She is fluent in both English and Cantonese.

Outside of the office, Dr. Ip enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and going on hikes with their dog, Brody.

Dr. Janice Lee

Optometrist

Dr. Janice Lee completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto in Physiology and Psychology and received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova
Southeastern University in Florida. During
her clinical rotations, she gained experience in fitting specialty contact lenses, pediatric eye care, evaluating binocular and sensory vision disorders, and specialty dry eye treatments.
Her training has included ocular disease
management specifically glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy management, and pre- & post- operative care for several Ophthalmic surgeries. Outside of
the clinic, Dr. Lee loves spending time with her family, painting, and swimming.
