Zocular Treatment

Dry eye disease can be impacted by blepharitis; an inflammation and irritation of the eyelid. It can be further exacerbated by demodex, a parasite that feeds off the biomaterial along your eyelashes.  Zocular Treatment can treat and control blepharitis, demodex and related dry eye symptoms by cleaning the eyelid and removing the source of inflammation. The treatment takes place in our office and does a great job of cleaning the meibomian gland openings, allowing the meibum (oil) to flow freely.
